Free Community Skating Classes
In an effort to unite Syracuse University with neighborhoods within the city of Syracuse, the university has designed and sponsored multiple programs for youth in the surrounding communities. These programs are designed to introduce youth to recreational opportunities, while empowering them to realize their potential and pushing them to succeed. In particular, starting in October, Tennity Ice Skating Pavilion is offering free skating lessons on Sunday mornings. The program is intended for children aged 4 – 10 years old.
Please note: CYISP is a free program for non-Syracuse University affiliates. University members are encouraged to participate in all other Tennity Ice Skating Pavilion programs (see our Learn to Skate site for lesson information).
